Today At ILTACON: Finishing Strong

ILTACON 2023 is drawing to a close, but that does not mean your interaction with the legal tech community must end.

data_Law_Justice (1)It has been great to see all the wonderful collaboration, education, and networking activities during the week. Incredible energy throughout the venue!

Have another great day, and we look forward to seeing you at ILTACON 2024 in beautiful Nashville.

On The Docket – Sure, we are into the dog days of summer and our conference now, just like Major League Baseball.

Although we all may be worn down by all our learning, connecting and parties, let’s keep up the energy levels and get ready to throw the equivalent of seven strong innings on our final day together to get the most out of the continued excellent content on tap.

Certainly, if the Little Leaguers in Williamsport can bring it every game, so can we!

Today’s keynote is the G100 & G200 Wrap-Up to learn what technology and trends are on the minds of CIOs from G100 and G200 firms. For those working outside the largest law firms in the industry — of those who missed these sessions — it’s a relatively scarce opportunity for those working to support the midsize and boutique marketplace in legal to gain perspective on some industry best practices.

The ILTA Annual Business Meeting Lunch anchors the midday, it’s an informative update for those interested in more information about ILTA.

And, of course, our educational sessions don’t disappoint either — the popular DISC Assessment series will be presented, as will sessions on cyber incident psychology, advanced trial tech, the use of AI and Chatbots of service desks, real world AI users and prompt engineering education and how the use of PowerBI and APIs in legal is evolving.

So much to learn, so choose wisely!

ILTA Spotlight – Please consider ongoing association activity.

ILTACON 2023 is drawing to a close, but that does not mean your interaction with the legal tech community must end. In fact, in many ways, this might be considered a new beginning.

Strive to make your four-day experience a yearlong enrichment process.

Opportunities include ILTA online training sessions, the ILTA Quarterly Update Webinar occurring Sept. 6, a security event Sept. 12 in London via a new partnership with S4S Club, becoming an ILTA volunteer on one of many committees writing for ILTA on their Blog, Peer-To-Peer and the recently announced partnership with Above The Law, sharing your expertise in an ILTA educational session, and many more. The opportunities to stay engaged are virtually endless.

Entertainment Tonight – There is one more big event on tap, the ILTA Closing Reception, at 6:30 p.m. at the Y&B Convention Center, Grand Harbor Ballroom for a final drink and farewells.

A Word From Our Sponsors – Sponsors are the lifeblood of ILTACON.  Please visit their booths, demo rooms and events today to learn more about their services and technology capabilities.  Here are some thoughts from our sponsors.

Karl Chapman, CEO, Kim Technologies. “Really enjoying seeing old friends and making new ones and distinguishing between the reality and the hype around the Gen AI announcements we’re all reading. Good to see we didn’t share some of our typical English weather while we’re here!”

Scott McFetters, President and CEO, CoreTech. “I have been at every ILTACON/ILTA/LawNet since the event held at the Camelback Inn in 1995. I have made many friends and it has been the start of many long-term law firm, personal and vendor relationships! I can’t wait to see everyone and meet new people in Orlando!”

Safe travels home, everyone!  See you in 2024!
