- Schulte pioneered the hedge fund industry nearly 50 years ago, and today, represents over half of the world’s top 100 largest hedge funds ranked by Institutional Investor Alpha’s Hedge Fund 100 list and more than 400 fund managers as well as thousands of investment funds globally.
- Advised Albertsons LLC and an investor group led by Cerberus Capital Management LP in the $9.2-billion merger of Safeway Inc., the second largest traditional supermarket in the U.S.

- Served as co-counsel with the New York Civil Liberties Union in the historic settlement of Hurrell-Harring v. New York, a class action that overhauled public defense in five New York counties and laid the foundation for statewide reform of New York’s public defense system.
