Founded in Cleveland in 1893, Jones Day today is one of the biggest names in Biglaw and has 41 offices in 17 countries on five continents. The firm does a little bit of everything, with offerings in nearly every major practice are. Among those, they’re perhaps most renowned for their work in the areas of labor and employment, financial markets, and appellate work. The latter has made the firm popular with former SCOTUS and federal appellate court clerks over the years.
